I Belong in Austin – Rental Assistance Application Portal Closed April 7 at 5 p.m.
The I Belong in Austin program provides tenant rental assistance to residents vulnerable to eviction. The application portal will open the first week of each month. If you or anyone you know is struggling to pay rent or is at risk of eviction, you can check your eligibility and apply for I Belong In Austin at www.austintexas.gov/rent.

Applications Open through April 21 for Austin Initiative to Boost Community-Rooted Developers
We are excited to announce the return of the Austin Equitable Development Initiative (formerly known as the Austin Small Developer Training), a program focused on empowering community-rooted developers to lead revitalization efforts. The Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) works to broaden participants’ skills and opportunities through training, mentorship, and financing. Apply now through April 21.
Access Translation and Interpretation Services
The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable modifications and equal access to communications will be provided upon request - including translation and interpretation services. For assistance, please contact the Housing Department at 512-974-3100. The City receives and accepts Video Relay Service (VRS) calls from people who are Deaf or hard of hearing through Relay Texas 7-1-1.
