The Economic Development Department’s Art in Public Places (AIPP) program is the City of Austin’s public art program. The Art in Public Places program commissions visual artists who work across all media to create site-specific installations and unique public art that reflect the history and values of our communities. These cultural landmarks have become cornerstones of Austin’s identity.  There are currently five opportunities accepting applications through October 22, 2024.
